Many today view church membership as optional. Yet Scripture paints a different picture.
Hebrews 10:24–25 urges us: “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another.”
Church membership is not about having your name on a list. It’s about belonging to a family. It’s a commitment to worship together, grow together, serve together, and hold one another accountable in love.
Throughout the New Testament, we see believers gathering regularly, caring for one another, and submitting to spiritual leadership. This wasn’t casual; it was covenantal.
When you become a member at Macedonia Baptist Church, you’re saying:
“I’m not just attending. I’m committing. I’m here to serve, to be discipled, and to help build the Body of Christ.”
Church membership strengthens you and strengthens the church. It’s a partnership in the Gospel and a declaration that you’re all in.
